About Saturn of Kamloops
Before Saturn of Kamloops became to be in October 1991, it was called Passport of Kamloops. The
Passport dealership sold vehicles for the General Motors of Canada network including Isuzu cars and trucks, along with
other imports from around the globe.
In October 1991 the Saturn brand was launched in Canada including the Kamloops operation on the East Trans Canada highway.
Although the building is in the original location it has undergone 2 visual changes and one name change over the past 16 years. In 1998 the Saturn image program was undertaken giving the store a whole new look, including a new name (formerly Eveready Saturn). Then in 2006 the building was expanded to accommodate the increasing sales and service business.
Saturn of Kamloops is honoured that their very first Saturn owner from 1991 is on her third Saturn and still part of the family.
Although Saturn of Kamloops is just one of many dealerships in the Kamloops area it has a unique reputation of being the friendly car dealer. This is no accident, when Saturn first entered the business of selling and servicing vehicles it wanted to change from the way traditional dealerships operated. Since 1991 Saturn’s vehicle line up has grown along with the store, in 1991 Saturn only offered one model, the S-Series car.
